Barbaresco Muncagota Riserva

Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, high tannin, high acidity, dry

Muncagota is the most recent addition to the Produttori del Barbaresco's line of single-cru Riservas, made only in strong vintages and aged in large oak casks. The cru gives a fine-boned, fragrant Barbaresco: red cherry and raspberry, rose and orange peel, with sweet spice and a savoury, forest-floor finish over firm, fine tannins. It is one of the more graceful wines of the set and ages well for fifteen to twenty years.

Serving: Serve at 15–17 °C.
