Barbaresco Asili Riserva

Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, high acidity, dry

Ca' del Baio's Asili Riserva is a selection from the family's oldest vines in the Asili cru of Barbaresco, given extended ageing in large oak before release. It adds depth and structure to the cru's perfume: withered rose, red cherry and plum, sweet spice, with tobacco and leather notes emerging over firm, ripe tannins. It is a wine for the cellar that rewards fifteen to twenty years of patience.

Serving: Serve at 16–18 °C.
