The DOCG rules apply regardless: Sangiovese alone, minimum two years in wood and four years before release, so this arrives with genuine bottle age. Expect a recognisable if straightforward Brunello: sour cherry and dried red fruit with leather, tobacco and dusty earth, high acidity and firm tannin, and the pale garnet colour typical of the grape. Less complex than a top single-estate bottling, but honest Sangiovese with real structure.
