Blaufränkisch

**Blaufränkisch** is a red grape most associated with Austria, especially the Burgenland region, and is also widely grown across Central Europe, where it goes by names such as Lemberger in Germany and Kékfrankos in Hungary. **In the glass** — It is medium to full-bodied with a deep colour, showing dark cherry and blackberry fruit alongside a distinctive spicy, peppery character and often an earthy, mineral edge.
