A single-vineyard Blaufränkisch from Feiler-Artinger in Rust, on the western shore of Lake Neusiedl, from the Ried Umriss site. It shows the grape's dark cherry, blackberry and black pepper with a violet lift, fresh acidity and a firm, fine tannic line. The limestone and slate soils give a mineral thread. It is approachable a few years after the vintage and ages gracefully for ten years or more.
