Hanweiler Berg Lemberger

Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry

Hanweiler Berg is an Erste Lage site in the Remstal, and Weingut Aldinger of Fellbach makes its Lemberger (Blaufränkisch) from it, aged around 14 months in barrique. Dark cherry and blackberry with pepper, chocolate and an iron-tinged savour from the soil, juicy core and silky tannins carried by lively acidity. One of Württemberg's reference Lembergers, with real ageing potential.
