Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry

Eric Pfifferling's Tavel at Domaine de l'Anglore, from old Grenache, Cinsault and Clairette on sand and limestone, hand-picked, given a short carbonic maceration with native yeasts and no added sulphur, and raised for about eight months in neutral oak and concrete. A deep, vinous rosé with red cherry, strawberry, blood orange, rose and spice, and a light tannic grip that suits the table and rewards a few years in bottle.
