Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry

Medeus is Sella & Mosca's everyday Cannonau di Sardegna, made from 100% Cannonau, the Sardinian name for Grenache. The grapes are hand-picked and given around two weeks of maceration, and the wine is bottled after only a few months so that the fruit stays to the fore. Expect ruby colour, ripe cherry and jammy red fruit with balsamic and herbal hints and the warm spice typical of Cannonau, held by soft, rounded tannins. A generous dry red for roasts, grilled meats and aged sheep's cheese, best drunk in its first few years.
