Prosecco Millesimato

Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, off-dry

A vintage-dated Prosecco DOC from Giordano, the Piedmont wine house that sells direct to customers across Europe. Glera, made sparkling in tank by the Charmat method to keep its fruit fresh: green apple, pear and white peach with a floral acacia note, a light frothy mousse, and the soft, just-off-dry finish of an Extra Dry style. "Millesimato" means all the grapes come from the year on the label, not that the wine is built to age. It is at its best young and well chilled (6–8°C), as an aperitif or with light starters.

Serving: Serve at 6–8 °C.
