Structure: full-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry

A high-altitude Rhône-style blend grown at extreme elevation in Los Chacayes, where Grenache's red-fruited warmth, Syrah's dark spice and Mourvèdre's structure combine into something both perfumed and firm. Black cherry and garrigue herbs give way to black pepper and a savoury, leathery undertow as the wine settles in bottle.

Where it comes from

Mendoza, Argentina

Mendoza lies in the arid foothills of the Andes in western Argentina and is by far the country's most important wine region, responsible for the majority of its production.

Grenache

Grenache is a red grape that originated in the Aragón region of Spain, where it is called Garnacha, and it is widely grown across the Mediterranean.
