Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry

Quinta do Crasto's Douro red, made from the classic Douro varieties — Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and a little Tinta Barroca — grown on the schist terraces of the Cima Corgo. Aged mostly in stainless steel with only a small portion in oak, it puts the fruit first: blackberry, black cherry and plum lifted by violet and wild rockrose, over fine, ripe tannins and a fresh finish. A polished, versatile everyday Douro that drinks well young and keeps for a few years.
