The Douro red Reserva ("Anchor Wine") from the historic Port house Feuerheerd's, founded in 1815: a blend of the classic Douro varieties led by Touriga Nacional, aged about 12 months in barrels that previously held Vintage Port. Black fruit and violet with refined spice and a touch of mocha, a concentrated, velvety palate with sweet, ripe tannins and fresh mineral acidity, and a long finish.
