Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry

Viti Nuove ("new vines") is a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano from Poliziano, one of the appellation's leading estates, made from Sangiovese (the local Prugnolo Gentile) from its younger plantings. Fresher and more approachable than the estate's classic Nobile or the single-vineyard Asinone: red cherry and plum with violet, dried herbs, tobacco leaf and a little sweet spice, medium-bodied with lively acidity and fine-grained tannins.

Serving: Serve at 15–17 °C.
