Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, high acidity, dry
Muga's Reserva Selección Especial is a stricter selection of the house's best Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano from its Haro vineyards, made only in good vintages and aged longer in the bodega's own coopered French oak than the standard Reserva. Blackberry and black cherry with cocoa, cedar, liquorice and balsamic notes, full-bodied, with firm, polished tannin and the acidity to age; more modern and concentrated than Muga's traditional Prado Enea.
Serving: Serve at 16–18 °C.
