Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, medium acidity, dry
Aro is Bodegas Muga's flagship red, a selection of Tempranillo with about 30% Graciano from old high-altitude vineyards near Haro. It is deep and concentrated, with blackberry and black cherry over toasted new oak, cocoa and liquorice. The tannins are firm and the Graciano keeps it fresh. Built for long cellaring, it is a modern-style Rioja of power and polish that gains savoury complexity with age.
Serving: Serve at 16–18 °C.
