Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry

Maurice O'Shea Shiraz is Mount Pleasant's flagship, named after the founder whose medium-bodied Hunter reds defined the region's style. It is a selection of the finest parcels from the estate's old Hunter Valley vineyards, and only made in top years. It is silky, savoury and medium-bodied: red cherry, plum and raspberry over earth and spice, with a fine net of powdery tannin. It is built to age for many decades, gaining the leathery, earthy complexity of great old Hunter Shiraz.
