Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, medium acidity, dry

J. Lohr's Pure Paso is a proprietary red built entirely from Paso Robles fruit: Cabernet Sauvignon (about 69% in 2018) with Petite Sirah (27%) and splashes of Syrah and Malbec, aged around 18 months in American and French oak. Savoury Cabernet layered with the inky dark fruit and spice of Petite Sirah: blackberry, plum and blueberry over mocha, pepper and vanilla, full-bodied with dense, ripe tannin.
