Casa Conforto is the oak-aged Chianti Riserva of Fattoria La Vialla, the biodynamic estate the Lo Franco family founded in 1978 in the hills above Arezzo. It is roughly 80% Sangiovese with 10% each of Canaiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon. Young, it shows sour cherry and blackcurrant with herbal spice and liquorice on a solid tannic frame; with age it turns to dried fruit, forest floor and dried herbs, as the IWSC noted of the 2010.
