Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry

A non-vintage Semillon from the Magnolia vineyard at Vine Vale, where deep granitic sands and a cool gully microclimate give the estate's whites a mineral, saline character its owner describes as oyster shell. Blending across years rather than bottling a single season builds layers a young vintage wine cannot reach. Lemon and green apple with beeswax, dried herb, white flowers and that saline thread through the finish. Medium-bodied, dry and genuinely textural, with high acidity giving it both energy and staying power. A long way from the Barossa's usual register.

Serving: Serve at 9–11 °C.
