Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry

A single-varietal Graciano from the Hilltops region of New South Wales, part of Cassegrain's Edition Noir range. Graciano is the aromatic, high-acid minor grape of Rioja. It is deeply coloured, with black olive, red cherry and pomegranate over savoury tannins and subtle oak, and a fresh, lifted finish. Serve it slightly cool (about 16°C) with rich beef or lamb stews and strong blue cheese.
