Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, high acidity, dry
Capanna's Brunello comes from the family's vineyards on the northern slopes of Montalcino at Montosoli, made traditionally with long ageing in large Slavonian oak casks. Red cherry and plum sit over dried herbs, leather and a balsamic edge, with firm, classical tannin and bright acidity. It is a slow-developing Brunello that rewards a decade or more in bottle.
Serving: Serve at 16–18 °C.
