Fortuna Terrae is Catena Zapata's parcel bottling from the Adrianna Vineyard at Gualtallary, at about 1,500 metres one of the highest and most studied vineyards in Argentina. This parcel's soils are rich in limestone, and they give Malbec of dark plum, black raspberry and violet over chalky minerality and mountain herbs, with fine, firm structure from the altitude. Cooler and more mineral than Mendoza Malbec usually reads, it ages for well over a decade.
