Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry
The white of Tenuta Villa Cordevigo, the Villabella family's estate at Cavaion Veronese near Lake Garda: roughly four parts Garganega to one of Sauvignon Blanc, bottled as Veronese IGT. Tropical fruit, grapefruit and white peach from the Sauvignon sit over Garganega's almond and gentle herbal tone, with a rounded, mouth-filling texture and a savoury, sage-tinged finish. A food white with more substance than most Garda-area whites, at its best within a few years of the harvest.
Serving: Serve at 9–11 °C.
