Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry

The Radovan family farm at Radovani near Višnjan built their name on Malvazija and Chardonnay, and their Sauvignon Blanc has become one of the most admired in Istria. It borrows from two schools at once: green, grassy grapefruit-and-passion-fruit aromatics in the New Zealand mould, but an unexpectedly thick, fleshy body closer to Alto Adige or Brda, ripe enough to carry real alcohol without heaviness. A saline mineral finish pulls it back into line.
