Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, high acidity, dry
Arborina is a La Morra cru in the Annunziata valley, and Mauro Veglio's family estate makes it in a polished, modern style with part of the ageing in barrique. Perfumed red cherry, raspberry and rose with licorice, sweet spice and tobacco, fine-grained tannins and a supple, elegant frame. Approachable earlier than many Barolos yet able to age well.
