Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium acidity, dry

Markus Molitor is best known for Riesling, but his dry Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder) from the Middle Mosel's slate slopes is a serious wine in its own right. Pear, yellow apple and almond with a floral lift sit on a creamy but fresh palate, given grip and a stony finish by the slate.

Serving: Serve at 9–11 °C.
