Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, high acidity

Haus Klosterberg is Markus Molitor's estate Riesling from the Mosel. It is drawn from the estate's slate vineyards around Wehlen, Zeltingen and Graach, spontaneously fermented and bottled young. The wine is light-bodied and racy, with green apple, lemon, grapefruit and a touch of apricot and quince over a fine, smoky slate mineral line. Molitor bottles it in several sweetness styles, and the capsule colour tells you which: white for dry (trocken), green for off-dry (feinherb), gold for fruity. It is made for drinking in its first few years, while the fruit is bright.

Serving: Serve at 8–10 °C.
