Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

Lanson's prestige vintage Blanc de Blancs, 100% Chardonnay from Côte des Blancs grand crus such as Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, made without malolactic fermentation in the house style to keep its acidity taut for long ageing. Young it shows lemon peel, green apple and chalky minerality; with bottle age it builds brioche, toasted hazelnut, caramel and a light smokiness, with a fine mousse and a long, salty mineral finish.

Serving: Serve at 6–8 °C.
