Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
Tappa Pass is Henschke's Barossa Shiraz, named for the pass between the Barossa and Eden valleys, and blends fruit from vineyards on both sides of the range. It is matured in French and American hogsheads. It is a full-bodied, polished Shiraz: blackberry, plum and black cherry with dark chocolate and spice, ripe fine tannins and a long, fresh finish from the cooler Eden Valley fruit. It is a slow developer that drinks well for ten to twenty years.
