Perlé Bianco Riserva

Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry

Ferrari's vintage blanc de blancs: a Trentodoc Riserva made entirely from hand-picked Chardonnay grown on the mountain slopes around Trento, and aged at least 80 months on the lees before disgorgement. A pale gold Brut with a fine, persistent mousse. Ripe orchard fruit, citrus and candied citron with honeysuckle and orange blossom meet the brioche, spiced-bread and toasted-almond notes of long lees ageing, with a mineral, almost iodine thread. The palate is creamy but driven by mountain acidity, finishing long with hints of white pepper and dried apricot.
