Dôle Blanche

Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry

Dôle Blanche is the Valais's white-pressed version of Dôle: Pinot Noir and Gamay pressed straight away so the juice takes only the faintest blush. This one is from the Fernand Cina winery in Salgesch. Red apple, pear and white cherry with a whisper of wild strawberry from the red grapes, light, fresh and dry. A versatile, easy-drinking wine for the Swiss table, best young and well chilled (8–10°C) with raclette, fondue, lake fish or as an aperitif.
