Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
Fons Singularis is a Vin de France red from Gaël Petit of Domaine Moulin-la-Viguerie, a small family estate in Tavel farmed organically, whose winemaking follows the low-intervention approach of his mentor Éric Pfifferling of Domaine de l'Anglore. It is a field-style blend of Grenache noir and gris, Carignan, Syrah and Aubun. Expect tart red fruit, redcurrant and morello cherry lifted by a floral, slightly smoky touch, with supple but present tannin: a lively, digestible southern Rhône red to drink in its youth.
