Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, medium acidity, dry

Reine des Bois — Domaine de la Mordorée's flagship Lirac, from old Grenache with Syrah and Mourvèdre on the galets and clay of the right bank opposite Châteauneuf, farmed biodynamically. Kirsch and dark berries over garrigue, licorice and firm, generous structure. Lirac at a level that closes much of the gap to its famous neighbour.
