Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry

A vintage Franciacorta DOCG from Castel Faglia's Monogram range at Calino, Chardonnay-led with Pinot Nero, aged at least 30 months on its lees as the vintage rules require and bottled with no added dosage. Bone-dry and taut, it pairs lemon and candied-citrus fruit with bread-crust and light nutty lees notes and a fine, saline finish. Sold in Italy under Coop's Fior Fiore label.
