Pinot Bianco Tradition

Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

Pinot Bianco is Cantina Terlano's signature grape, and this is its classic "Tradition" bottling from the porphyry and sandy soils around Terlan in Alto Adige. It is fermented in stainless steel and kept for months on its fine lees, which gives texture without masking the fruit. Green apple, pear and citrus mix with white flowers, chamomile and a flinty, mineral edge on a fresh, finely balanced palate. Lovely young, it also gains depth and nutty complexity over several years, as Terlano's whites are known to do.
