Tasting profile
Structure: full-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
Siete Viñas Reserva is Barón de Ley's Rioja built from all seven traditional Rioja varieties — Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha and Mazuelo with the white Viura, Malvasía and Garnacha Blanca — each vinified separately, and all but the Garnacha matured about three years in American oak before blending. Full and polished, it shows black cherry and plum framed by vanilla, coconut and sweet spice, with tobacco and leather developing in bottle.
