Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, high tannin, high acidity, dry
Albino Rocca is a family estate in Barbaresco, now run by the founder's granddaughters, known for precise, elegant Nebbiolo. Its classic Barbaresco blends several of the family's vineyards and is aged in large oak casks: red cherry, raspberry and rose with liquorice, spice and an earthy note, on firm, fine tannins and bright acidity. It is approachable sooner than Barolo but ages well for fifteen years.
Serving: Serve at 15–17 °C.
