Tasting profile (AI-generated)
Structure: medium-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry
A classic Pfalz Grosses Gewächs Riesling from the respected Reiterpfad Hofstück vineyard in Deidesheim, this is a dry, precise wine built around wet slate minerality and bright citrus tension, with riper stone-fruit character typical of the warmer Pfalz climate. Reichsrat von Buhl is one of the Pfalz's historic estates, and their GGs consistently show restrained power — taut acidity balanced by peach and apple fruit, with that characteristic petrol note emerging with a few years of bottle age. It's a serious, age-worthy white that rewards patience but is already approachable in its structured youth.
