Blanc de Blancs

Tasting profile

Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, high acidity, dry

A Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs from a Rully house that has made sparkling wine since 1951, blended from about 80% Chardonnay and 20% Aligoté grown on clay-limestone parcels in the Côte Chalonnaise and Côte de Beaune. Bright and precise: citrus, pear and white flowers over a fine mousse, a light bready note from lees ageing and a crisp, mineral finish. Best drunk young and fresh.
