TO is the Velich family's Chardonnay-led white from Apetlon on the Seewinkel side of Lake Neusiedl, about 85% Chardonnay with Welschriesling and a little Sauvignon Blanc from sandy, gravelly soils. Spontaneously fermented and raised on the lees in steel, large casks and used barriques: ripe pear, apple and citrus with white flowers and a hint of hazelnut, medium-bodied and lively. The accessible counterpart to the estate's Darscho and Tiglat Chardonnays, best within its first few years.
