Extraordinary is Velenosi's gold-labelled Marche IGT red, first made in 2022 as an affordable wine to round out the range. It blends three regional grapes: Montepulciano and Sangiovese from the estate's Monteprandone vineyards and Lacrima from Morro d'Alba, grown on clay and limestone. Each variety is macerated separately, for 7 to 15 days, and the wine is aged a few months in steel with no oak. The result is fresh and easy-drinking, with crunchy red cherry and redcurrant, a floral lift from the Lacrima and a cool, minty finish.
