Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, high acidity, dry

Tyrrell's Late Disgorged Blanc de Blancs is a traditional-method sparkling made only from Chardonnay grown on the Casuarina vineyard in the Hunter Valley. It spends around eight years on its lees before disgorging. The dosage is made in-house from aged Vat 47 Chardonnay and a little old brandy. The long lees age gives brioche, toasted almond and honeycomb over a lemony, chalky core, with fine, creamy bubbles and a long, dry finish. It is ready on release and holds well for several years after disgorging.
