Gouttes d'Or Cuvée Arthur

Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, medium acidity, dry

Gouttes d'Or is the prestige white of Domaine Roque Sestière at Luc-sur-Orbieu, a Corbières estate best known for its whites. Despite the name it is a dry wine: roughly equal Roussanne and Grenache Blanc, fermented and aged about seven months in new oak barrels. Expect white peach and apricot with honey, hazelnut and toasty vanilla oak on a broad, full palate. It needs a few years for the oak to settle and keeps well beyond that.
