Museum Reserva comes from Bodegas Finca Museum in DO Cigales, north of Valladolid, the Barón de Ley group's first winery outside Rioja, chosen for Cigales' old bush vines. 100% Tempranillo (Tinta del País), hand-harvested and aged in French oak. Black cherry and blackberry with licorice, toast, vanilla and a balsamic edge; full-bodied and ripe in the Duero-valley style, with firm but polished tannin.
