Tasting profile

Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, high acidity, dry

Clos des Ursules is a walled 2.2-hectare monopole within the Beaune premier cru Les Vignes Franches, the first vineyard bought by Louis Jadot, in 1826, and still the house's emblem. It gives one of the deepest, most structured Beaunes: black cherry, raspberry and plum with spice, violet and an earthy core, on firm but polished tannins and fresh acidity. It needs a few years and ages for fifteen or more.
