Jean Foillard's Fleurie — Gamay from the granite slopes of Beaujolais' most perfumed cru, made in the natural manner Foillard helped establish as one of the "Gang of Four": whole clusters, native yeasts, minimal sulphur. Red cherry and raspberry over violet, peony and granite lift, silkier and more floral than his Morgon, with fine, low tannin.
