Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry

Fragrance is the white Saint-Joseph of Domaine François Grenier, a young grower who has vinified and bottled his own wine since 2015. It blends Marsanne and Roussanne, aged about six months in barrel, in small lots of around 2,000 bottles. Expect a textured, generous northern Rhône white with apricot, white peach and pear, honeysuckle and almond, lightly framed by oak and lifted by a fennel freshness; after a quieter phase a few years in, it gains nutty, honeyed complexity.
