Tasting profile

Structure: full-bodied, high tannin, high acidity, dry

Nit de Nin Mas d'en Caçador is the single-vineyard Priorat of Ester Nin and Carles Ortiz. It comes from a north-facing plot of old Garnacha, much of it Garnacha Peluda, and Carignan on schist at around 650 m, one of the appellation's highest sites. Biodynamically farmed, partly whole-bunch fermented and aged in old oak, it marries kirsch and blackberry with graphite, garrigue, violet and orange peel. Fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity keep its power taut and long-lived.
