Tasting profile
Structure: medium-bodied, medium tannin, medium acidity, dry
De Iuliis's Hunter Valley Shiraz is the family's estate-level red from its Pokolbin vineyards and one of the region's good-value Shirazes. It is medium-bodied and supple, with ripe blackberry and red plum, a hint of black pepper and spice, fine tannins and a savoury finish. It is soft enough to enjoy young and gains some earthy Hunter character over a few years.
