Tasting profile
Structure: light-bodied, low tannin, medium acidity, dry
Monopole is CVNE's unoaked white Rioja, made from 100% Viura (Macabeo) from the house's Rioja Alta vineyards and local growers. The juice gets a short cold maceration on the skins and is fermented in stainless steel, so it's all about freshness. White flowers, apple and ripe orchard fruit with a hint of pineapple and banana, a smooth, rounded middle and a clean, gently citrus finish. Made to be drunk young and chilled. The oldest white-wine brand in Spain, first labelled in 1915, in its modern, fruit-first form.
